Pink Salt Serving Plate

A serving plate, hand-carved from a single block of pink Himalayan salt. The mineral surface lightly seasons whatever is placed on it — cold, room-temperature, or briefly warm. For cheese boards, sashimi, sliced fruit, slow grazing.

Ritual. Wipe with a damp cloth before first use. Place cold or room-temperature foods directly on the plate — they pick up a gentle, even salt note within ten to fifteen minutes. For warm serving, pre-heat the plate in a low oven (no higher than 200°C) for thirty minutes. After use, wipe clean with a dry cloth; never submerge in water.

Composition. Single solid block of pink Himalayan salt, hand-carved and hand-polished. Naturally antimicrobial. With care, lasts years.

Origin. Each plate is carved from a single block of salt from Pakistan's Salt Range. Natural variation in colour and translucency is part of the object.
